What first fueled your passion for fitness?

I’ve been involved in athletics my entire life, so being fit was always a bit of a necessity — the fact is, though, that I just love learning about health and wellness and growing through experiences that are related to it. Now, post brain surgery, I really use fitness as self-motivation so that I can live my best life. I’m also passionate about supporting people who have mental health issues or physical disabilities who use fitness as an outlet.

What words or mantra do you live by?

Don’t worry, we’ll figure it out. I guess having brain surgery has changed how I see things — I’m just trying not to sweat the small stuff.

If you win, what will you do with the $20,000?

I would probably take my family on vacation somewhere. They’ve been in my corner backing me up since day one — I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
